How this works
- Elevation. Your browser downloads a few dozen terrain tiles (SRTM and other public data) around the summit, about 250 m per sample for the scene and finer at the peak.
- Landform. It measures the ground on rings around the summit, as the Python skill does: how steep the peak is, what stands in front of it, how rough it is, whether it sits below a plateau. Cones, horns, ranges, canyons and islands each get their own framing.
- Drawing. A perspective camera, a floating horizon that hides what is behind, and one of six print styles. It is the same engine as the studio pages and the procedural-terrain-art Claude skill, which renders these at any size in Python.
No image model is involved and nothing is uploaded: search terms go to the geocoder, everything else happens on this page.
